For us, it is simply the blend of everything that defines our Kamptal: the magnitude of the mammoths that succumbed to hunters' spears 30,000 years ago… the vastness of the primeval sea that once stretched across this land… the diversity of the soils, which makes finding the right spot for every grape a meticulous task… the whims of the air currents, from Pannonian to Waldviertel influences… the solidarity of the winemakers, who smoke out the frost on clear nights… the power of a glass raised together……. all of this is terroir to us, and all of this is what our wines are meant to tell.
